Scott O. called to let us know about this 1998 video of the Rockwall, Texas Wall–the reason Rockwall is called Rockwall. Several people from the area had lately reported that they have not been able to find the wall or anything about it.
Scott is from (nearby?) Lubbock, Texas. Scott, it was too late to call you back but when your sites are up we will link, brother. Thanks and God speed!
Anyway, we’ve previously posted two articles about an ancient, megalithic rock wall in Rockwall, Texas that some say is man made and some say is a purely natural feature.
A 1907 New York Times article entitled “Digging for Buried City†reported that Mr. J.E. Hess was excavating around the wall in hopes of locating a buried city. He reported that the wall is made up of regularly sized and shaped native sandstone slabs- and that the wall was buried to a depth of about three feet, and that it was known to be approximately 40 feet high.
In 1925 in contravention of the “experts†who had come and examined the wall and proclaimed it to simply be a natural sandstone formation, according to a New York Times article, a Dr. Lena James, believing otherwise, discovered several triangular, monogrammed stones which had been placed into the wall.
Dr. James discovered these stones at a depth of 50 feet. Her discovery at least temporarily reawakened interest in the wall and hope that a prehistoric city might be found in RockWall, Texas.
The rock wall in Rockwall will no doubt continue to be a mystery, but early newspaper accounts make it clear that it wasn’t the only unknown, mysterious, buried, megalithic structure in Texas. In Milano, Texas, some 150 miles away, an ancient rock wall was reported to be 20 miles long and to rival the size of the Great Wall of China.
Among the comments in this video are that its made up of quartz and feldspar, which are not found in the location of the wall and that according to one geologist, there was evidence of electromagnetic activity in the wall…..There was also a bit of consternation as to why the university hadn’t sent scientists out to study the structure………
